Hub Café first started offering good eats to the Lincoln Community in January of 2016. Owned and operated by Branched Oak Farm, this restaurant has a strong commitment to sourcing local for their menu. With a great location (walkable, bikeable, & car parking!), Hub Café is an easy choice for your weekend brunch or morning coffee break. It will please both the eater looking for the simple (eggs, sausage, and potatoes) and those wanting a breakfast with all the WORKS (think goat cheese, chorizo, and kale like in the Hub Skillet).

Growing up in Nebraska, many are accustomed to the agricultural landscapes of beans, corn, and wheat, but few think about where their produce comes from and how it gets to the plate. By sourcing local ingredients, Hub Cafe is bridging the connection between urban eaters and rural producers, an often missing link in our industrialized food system. Hub Cafe showcases local food and provides an important sales outlet for farms in the area.

Wednesday Night Farmers Market
The Hub Café is hosting a weekly farmers market every Wednesday, 5-7pm, from May – September, out of the Jayne Snyder Trails Center and adjoining, picturesque Union Plaza. Our market is unique in offering the best in seasonal produce and local products, food & drink from Hub Café and a great line-up of live, local musicians.
Hub & Soul is a free community event designed for people of all ages and backgrounds to celebrate music, local food, and Lincoln’s parks. Mark your calendars for June 27, July 25, August 22, and September 26 from 6:00 -9:00 PM at Union Plaza Amphitheatre – 21st and P Street, right by the Hub Café.
Open Mic Nights
Join us every first and third Thursday of the month from 5-8pm for Open Mic night at the Hub Café with equipment set-up sponsored by Roots Music. Chefs Jake & Kelley will have a rotating monthly menu of pizza and dinner to indulge in while you support local musicians and artists! We always end with a large jam, so stick around!
