Sunny Slope Farm

Sunny Slope Farm Filley, Nebraska

Meet Corinne Kolm & Josh Frank of Sunny Slope Farm near Filley!

“We welcome you to visit our farm and experiece the pleasure of picking your own produce.”

Sunny Slope Farm started out as a cornfield in 2005 when Merlin and Rita Friesen purchased the property and converted it to a diversified farm with grass-fed beef, a vegetable garden, a flock of chickens, and a beautiful orchard.  The Friesen's developed wind and solar energy on the farm as well as a rainwater catchment system.  Over 10 years later, the Friesen's moved to Minnesota to be closer to family, but wanted to keep the land as a diversified and sustainable farm.  In 2018, the farm was purchased by first-time farmers and long-time supporters of local & sustainable agriculture, Corinne Kolm and Josh Frank, who continue to provide the community with healthy vegetables, fruit, and eggs.

Sunny Slope Farm invites customers out to their farm to their U-Pick strawberry patch each year in early June so you can experience the delicious flavor of strawberries just seconds after harvest!  Contact the farm to make arrangements. Announcements also made on their Facebook page!
